When I first came to Aimee’s yoga, I was 16, and at a huge transition time in my life.  I was changing from being a ski racer to starting a carrier as a freestyle skier.  I had two months with Aimee before I left home for five months, going to start new life training at the Olympic Training Center in New York.  When I do Power Yoga, I end the practice feeling stronger, more flexible, and also at peace with myself.  Aimee talks throughout the yoga about loving your true self.  This was exactly what I needed.  I focused on being the person I wanted to be.  That spring I was the strongest, and most toned I’ve ever been.  I left knowing who I was.  I trained hard all summer, skiing down a plastic ramp and flipping and spinning into a pool.  Aimee made CD’s of the classes, so I could do them on my own.  The self-confidence Aimee instilled in me allowed me to present my true self to the world.  Over the past year and a half since that first fall, my freestyle career skyrocketed.  I went from being the new prodigy gamble, to firmly establishing myself as a professional through winning Junior Olympics in 3 events, and just this past August winning Junior Worlds.  I could only do these things because of the total belief I have in myself.  A belief that I learned from Aimee.  I don’t know exactly how to convey how much Aimee changed my life.  But I do know that I am a completely different person because of what she did for me.  I would recommend Aimee to anyone and everyone I know! Try Power Yoga!  It will change your life forever.
